Scotsoun Stadium
Jordanhill Community Council have been opposing the further extension of Scotstoun Stadium purely on the fact that events, where there is a large number of spectators attending, the clear trend is that a high proportion of spectators will travel by private car and wish to park in the adjacent streets in Jordanhill and Whiteinch. Glasgow Life, who manage Scotstoun Stadium, have a 'Travel Plan' as part of the GCC Planning conditions, however JCC believe this Plan is flawed and not fit for purpose. Currently, with the support of both Whiteinch and Scotstoun Community Councils, JCC are opposing the current plan to extend the seating capacity at the Stadium.
